A Salute to Tita Cory

Thank you Tita Cory for your endless dedication for the Filipino people. You showed us the value of nonviolent movements and the greatness of democracy. By becoming the first Female President of the Philippines you showed the whole world that power is not something to be abused. You never abused your power during your term and I salute you for that.

Thank you for being the nation's most wonderful mother. You nurtured us, you cared for us more than you carted for your own family. You equally shared the advocacy that your deceased husband started. You became our icon for revolution and you have shown us that nothing is impossible if we are all united. We love you Tita Cory and your passion will be greatly remembered by generations to come.

You showed the whole world the power of the Filipinos. We are a nation of fighters but you showed them our other side. The side of non-violent movements. Thank you for letting the world know our strength.

You made us proud that you--a simple housewife--received extraordinary accomplishments and most importantly you created a whole new image of a woman. a Filipino and a human.

You made my faith stronger. You prove to me the power of prayer and as a Catholic you are my idol...

Thank you Tita Cory and I will never forget you!!!

Tayo'y Magkaisa (Let's all be United) for Tita Cory

Tita Cory (Corazon Aquino) has been the Philippine's greatest leader. For me, she's a living hero. A living proof that democracy can be won and that GOD never ceases to love us. Shes more than an ex-president...She's the very foundation of the democracy the Philippines is enjoying today. She's been a mother to all of us and now that her condition is taking away the strength that she is well known for, we must resort to the very weapon she used for the country she loved dearly---PRAYER.

Let us all take a moment of silence and meditate. Feel the prescence of our COMMON GOD and pray.

Dear God,

We come to your presence to sincerely ask for the rapid healing of our beloved Tita Cory. For the past years, she has been a loyal servant of your words and through her the Philppines and its people is renewed. She united the country torn apart by Dictatorship and she had showed the very values of true Christian. Sinful children that we are, we ask this not for ourselves but for Tita Cory. We ask you to send your Holy Spirt to heal our beloved Tita Cory, enlighten her and remind her that she is among the chosen ones whom you called blessed. Stand beside her Lord and make her feel that she is not alone. Encourage your children to continue to pray and never forget the love that Tita Cory has showed for us and our counrty. We also pray for our nation, may we be united tofight against the very enemies that Tita Cory had fought during her time. We pray that Love and Unity be present always and that Democracy will reign forever. This we pray through Jesus Christ, our lord.Amen.

Please remeber that Tita Cory will always love the country and the people

Me as a Junior

There were a lot of changes this junior year. One for instance is instead of having only one adviser the school gave us two. One is a newbie teacher and one is a pretty teacher which happens to be one of the owners of the school. The social groups are broken but there are still immature people who still act like inconnu.

Some of our classmates changed residencies and others simply just changed schools. There were issues that happened in the first years of my high school which in one way or another affected the school’s name.

There was this one time when two of my classmates are exercising P.D.S.O. or Public Display of Sexual Organs. There were sitting behind me and the boy started the activity. He started touching the girl’s boobs which eventually led to unhooking her bra and then the girl started stroking the boy’s cock. Even though no orgasm was shown but take note they are doing it in a classroom with students and a teacher while class is in session.

Imagine that!!!

Anyways, back to my topic. This year became one of my unforgettable years in my life. One of the highlights is the Sports Fest. After the Award’s night all the seniors broke into tears. We, as juniors, were touched. The party lasted for 4 hours and some of them continued drinking. I did not join them.

I love being in High school and really it’s the best 4 years of your life…trust me.
